2face, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Others to Headline 2014 Star Music Trek

2face Idibia, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage are among high profile music names unveiled as performers at the upcoming Star Trek 2014.

This year’s Star Trek boasts of an exciting lineup of artistes that also include Phyno, Dr Sid, KCEE, MI, Davido, Wande Coal, and Timaya.

Other artistes performing at the 13th edition of the Star Music Trek include Sean Tizzle, Raw, Neato C, May D, Pasuma and Sound Sultan. DJ Neptune, DJ Switch, DJ Blaise are the official DJs for this year’s music Trek. Noticeably missing on this year’s list are D’banj and the dynamic P’Square who featured prominently on last year’s Trek.

The artistes billed to perform at the 2014 Star Music Trek were announced at a glamorous sign-on party held at the Federal Palace Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday, March 19 2014.

A slew of top entertainment personalities like Olisa Adibua, Toni Kan, Uti Nwachukwu, Tee-Y Mix, Mark Redguard, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, Tunde Ednut, Mo’ Eazy, D’Tunes, HarrySongs all attended the exclusive party which was hosted by Gbenga Adeyinka and Cool FM’s Do2un.

10 Nigerian cities will experience the Star Music Trek for 10 weeks, according to a statement by organisers NB PLC.

The Trek 2014 will be touring Nsukka, on Saturday, March 29, Makurdi, Saturday April 5, Uyo, Saturday April 12, Umuahia Saturday, April 19, Orlu, Saturday, April 26, Ekwulobia, Saturday May 3, Onitsha Fegge, Sunday May 11, Benin, Saturday May 17, Ado Ekiti, Saturday May 24, and Lagos, Saturday May 31 all in 2014.
