Here are five foods that are great for your vagina:

1. Greek yogurt:

Your vagina contains 'good bacteria', and so does yogurt. Greek yogurt contains active cultures of bacteria/ probiotics that ward off organisms that can cause diseases and infections in the vagina.

Eating a cup or two of yogurt will help maintain healthy pH levels in the body.

2. Cranberry juice:

Cranberry juice helps balance the pH in the body and its acidic compounds help ward off urinary tract infections.

A glass or two of unsweetened, organic cranberry juice daily is recommended for improved vagina health. If you can lay your hands on them, eat a handful of cranberries instead.

3. Soy:

Soy contains phytoestrogens, a synthetic form of estrogens that helps keep your vagina lubricated. You might want to include tofu and soy milk in your diet.

4. Sweet potatoes:

The Vitamin A in sweet potatoes will help keep your vagina and uterine walls healthy. How? Vitamin A is an antioxidant that will help the cells in your lady parts function better.

5. Fruits, vegetables and a lot of water:

By now you must know that fruits and vegetables are an important part of your diet that you must never skip. Fruits and vegetables are packed full with vitamins, minerals and nutrients that your body can not do without.

Pineapples and watermelons are great for vagina hygiene as they improve the taste and smell of the vagina considerably.

Drinking a lot of water will keep the membranes of the vagina well lubricated and hydrated, allowing those parts function properly.
