A banana cake plus caramel icing simply means greatness in your mouth, here is how to achieve it.

- Two cups of cake flour
- One cup of very ripe bananas, mashed
- Half a cup of unsalted butter
- Half cup of buttermilk
- One cup of sugar
- Two tablespoons of baking powder
- Half a tablespoon of baking soda
- Half tablespoon of salt
- One tablespoon of vanilla extract
- Two big eggs
- One cup of caramel icing

How to:
1 recipe Caramel Icing
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Coat two cake pans with oil, butter or cooking spray.
3. Dust with flour and set aside.
4. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
5. In another bowl, beat the butter with a handmixer until it is light.
6. Add in the sugar continue to beat for a few minutes.
7. Break in the eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly as each one is added.
8. Mix in the vanilla.
9. Reduce the speed of the mixer to low and add in the flour by thirds, still mixing, alternating the addition with buttermilk and bananas. Add the sifted dry ingredients last.
10. Divide the batter into the two cake pans.
11. Set on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
12. Bring out to cool sufficiently before you loosen the cake from the pans and set out to cool completely.
13. Place cake on a cake plate lined with parchment paper.
14. Pour one cup of caramel icing on top and spread evenly.
15. Place the second layer on top of it and cover the top and sides with the remaining caramel icing.
16. Serve as desired.
