Africa’s largest hotel booking portal, Jovago last weekend made landmark contributions at the first e-commerce exhibition, eCEX, organised at the Ideas Hub in Lagos.

The programme which brought together disruptive thinkers from the Information Technology and Trade sector had participants discuss Nigeria’s internet opportunities as well as lay the roadmap to tap into the burgeoning growth expected.

Speaking at the panel discussion, Omolara Adagunodo, Head of Customer Service, Jovago Nigeria highlighted the importance of great customer care to a business saying,

“Customer Service is the pivot on which a successful business runs. No matter what you are doing, excellent (not just good) service will always distinguish you and that is what we offer at Jovago.”

Further highlighting Jovago’s commitment to developing the hospitality industry, Jovago's Managing Director, Marek Zmyslowski highlighted the business' commitment to transforming the hospitality industry in Nigeria.

Said Zmyslowski,

"At the moment, we offer seamless online hotel bookings anywhere you travel in the world, with a focus on the African market, where we have built the biggest inventory of verified hotels you can choose from.  This is to ensure you get best possible customer service, combining worldwide experience with local know-how.”

Currently, Jovago provides booking services to 7,000 hotels within Nigeria, and its recent expansion to Ghana and Senegal are projected to double its output by the last quarter of the year.

The second edition of the eCEX exhibition and seminar is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2016.
