The fashion brand may not be the loudest brand out there but then the loudest isn’t always the best, as they are arguably one of the best suit makers in the game. With inspiration from the world renowned Savile Row, the brand follows exquisite tailoring.

The brand started officially in 2008 but it wasn’t always so easy. Tayo revealed to Pulse that he had worked at a bank for about 4 years, before training with an uncle who had served as creative assistant for Giorgio Armani.

He mentioned that he began suit making as a lucrative business due to unfulfillment. While he trained with his uncle, they focused on bespoke suits, as his uncle had vast experience with suit making.

After the training, he began supplying accessories to working class men and he noticed they wore a lot of bright colored shirts, which got him curious but he noticed that when these industry men would come around, “there’s something that I see, i’d always wish could be done better.” Thus he began suit making, which he continues to do till date.

The TG man wants to stand out but not too old...man who has come into a sense of his own, wants to make a statement with his outfit”...

In describing what sets him apart from the numerous suit makers in Nigeria, he says, “suit making is very deep..it’s about the depth of knowledge.” The sartorial man cites Savile Row as a teacher, as the standards on the row are so high that to own a place there, you must have about 10-15 years experience on the row.

Finally, he mentioned that the 2016 AMVCAs were a very busy time as his designs were seen on nothing less than eight men that evening, including, RMD, Kcee, Ramsey Nouah, comedian, AY, Desmond Elliot, John Ogbe (MD, Multi Choice Nigeria) and so many more. However, he says, “he had a clear understanding of what he wanted to do” for the clients.
