The (Glitter) Plimsolls

Plimsolls are bang on and are getting interesting too...

Comfort is key, when done laidback stylish even better. Plimsolls have being around for a while but for some major reasons they are bang on this season and hopefully the next.

For a 'footwear lazy' person like me, the key to my heart for work everyday has to be a pair of fabulous flats- unique and of great quality (not necessarily a designer brand) is fine for everyday wear because I'm pretty much at my desk all day except where I have meetings/appointments where I have to slip into a pair of comfortable heels (note comfortable!)

Just imagine my joy when I noticed this trend is actually 'not bad' and kind of versatile. I live for Plimsolls at the moment (don't judge me) I found the perfect pair (two of them actually) one night on Jumia.com.ng and they are still the best things happening to me right now!

I scored the Plimsolls with glitter details (yup you heard right) and they are amazing- I got one in silver and one in gold (Oh yeah!) it initially felt funny scoring colours like that but when they came (and fast too) I wasn't disappointed, the pictures on the site didn't even do it any justice to them.

First, they are quite durable as I have worn the silver so much (it hurts) but the gold not so much , they are both pretty versatile and stylish and extremely comfortable. They go with just about any laid back look. I wore it once with a matching pant set for a day during the 2014 Lagos Fashion &Design Week and asides from the compliments I got, it was damn comfy and stylish.

If you love your flats, comfort and stylish sleek? Then by all means cop the plimsolls trend with unique details, mine was glitters yours could be animal skin, more daring blings and so on but by all means score one or two.
