Most of these stylists have an impressive credential from having solid fashion backgrounds and experiences, have cut their teeth in styling editorials, lookbooks, adverts/campaign for TV, magazines and so on . They have honed their crafts and their consistency have paid off.

These nine fashion stylists brought it for 2016.
1. Jane Michael Ekanem
Jane Michael Ekanem had an amazing year styling and creating. From celebrities to presenters on shows, the celebrity stylist brought it on for the year as she made headlines with stunning looks she put on her client.
The stylist who plans to launch her own brand in the nearest future also launched her style channel amongst the many activities she got up to this year. She won the ELOY awards 2016 best stylist of the year giving an emotional speech.
She no doubt had a great year.
2. Harvella Styles
Harvella Styles was constantly in the news this year courtesy of Toke Makinwa who equally had an eventful year. Harvella Styles continues to outdo her previous works with even more interesting style notes. The fact that her style is unpredictable makes it more fun.
3. The Style Infidel/ Tosin Ogundadegbe
The Style Infidel had an amazing year working with major fashion brands this year. The creative stylist who was the curator and stylist of the GTB Fashion Weekend's entire exhibition and was easily the brain behind the most creative lookbooks, campaigns of 2016.
His eye for details, intricate styling approach and excellent curation and infusion of stunning aesthetics stand his work out everytime, the brain behind some of Waje's best looks this year, the Style Infidel made a huge effort and had an impressive outing for the year.
4. MsModish/Damilola Oke
Known for her eclectic print mixes, Msmodish continues to set trends with her daring take on bold looks. The stylish who was the brain behind Waje's style overhaul years ago brought it on unique again this year.
From styling celebrity clients, editorials and just mixing eclectic pieces as style inspiration, she had a great year.
5. Rhoda Ebun
Rhoda Ebun of Roses and Thorns had a great year with her major styling gig being Ebonylife TV. The celebrity stylist and fashion consultant added ELTV presenters to her impressive list of clients this year.
She was the brain behind Dolapo Oni and Vimbai Mutinhirin's top looks this year.
6. Moashy Styling/Moses Ebite
Moashy Styling poured creativity into styling lookbooks, editorials and celebrities for 2016, his works were seen all around through the year. His refined, neat and detailed approach to styling doesn't go unnoticed.
7. Yummie Ogbebor
Yummie Ogbebor tipped heads her way this year being the brain behind most of Rita Dominic's bold looks. The fashion stylist and image consultant go to creative work this year and her efforts didn't go unnoticed.
8. Yolanda Okereke
Yolanda Okereke gave Lala Akindoju's style a major overhaul this year. The fashion stylist got the award winning actress into drool worthy looks that made statements one red carpet after the other.
The stylist is known for her tasteful and artistic blend of pieces finished off neat and without fuss.
9. Zedeye
Zedeye got busy this year styling celebrities' photoshoots and editorial as well as image consulting for brands.
