Womenswear brand does bold hues for S/S17 luxury collection - Lookbook

The womenswear brand out of Nigeria showed off colourful pieces with a rustic edge with the new collection that tells a story.

Side slit dress, midi bustiers, jumpsuit with cutout details, bodysuit, slouchy pants, shirt blouse, evening dress and more with sheer inserts, asymmetric lines, colour block, contrasting panels, embellishments, halter neck and more as details.

"The collection was inspired by the Nsibidi symbols of the Pre-Colonial era and aimed at using fashion as a language tool" the brand revealed in a side note.

"This collection was inspired by the nsibidi symbols that existed during the pre-colonial era. Which were used as a means of written communication before the invasion of the British. Each symbol beautifully and artistically inscribed on walls, the ground and other surfaces" the brand revealed about looks from the collection.
