Singer looks radiant with her son on cover of Parents magazine

Aside from motherhood bonding her even more with her long time bestie, Beyonce, she says she has learned patience from being a mom

Kelly Rowland looking radiant

Beautiful singer and one quarter of girl band, Destiny Child, Kelly Rowland is all smiles on the February cover of Parents magazine alongside her cute son, Titan Jewel Weatherspoon.

In the magazine, Rowland shares her experience of being a mom for a year. Her mother died at about time she had her son and she credits her son for helping her get through her tough moments.

“It was a tough, emotional point for me. I remember not wanting to be sad for Titan. I wanted to keep myself together because I believe that all that stress and grief can be passed on to your baby. Knowing Titan needed me, and having that to focus on, helped me through.”

She also mentions how she had difficulty producing breast milk after her breast implant, which is a common side effect.

“I had my heart set on breastfeeding, but I wasn’t producing enough milk,” she shares. “I got down on myself, which I think was mentally limiting my supply.”

Aside from motherhood bonding her even more with her long time bestie, Beyonce, she says she has learned patience from being a mom.

Finally, between changing diapers, recording her upcoming album, and recording her anticipated reality singing competition Chasing Destiny, the new mom still manages to find time for exercise and advises new moms to take time getting the weight off.

And a healthy and happy baby equated to a healthy and happy Kelly. Thank goodness for that!
