The 74th annual awards event hosted by The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon held on Sunday 8th 2016 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Hints of metallic hues made statement on the red carpet with celebrities donning the best designer frocks of the season.

Blake Lively was gorgeous in Atelier Versace, Caitroia Balfe did a chic colour block in a Delpozo frock, Drew Barrymore chose a Monique Lhuillier piece, Tracee Ellis Ross scored a piece from Zuhair Murad amongst other showstopping looks.

The men also turned heads in designer suits with Andrew Garfield looking all shades of gentlemanly in Gucci, Justin Hartley chose a piece from Dolce & Gabbana, Ryan Gosling also chose a dapper white Gucci look.
