The group, led by their leader, last weekend, held a rally outside the NigerianHighCommission in London, UnitedKingdom, to protest the SameSexMarriageProhibitionAct signed into law by PresidentGoodluckJonathan.
Nigerian Gays Shift Fight To London
With the law prohibiting their activities in Nigeria now in place, members of the Nigerian Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexual and Inter-Sex in Diaspora, LGBT,have been holding rallies and protests in foreign lands where they believe they have the sympathy of the people.
According to the gay community, they came together to as well asdelivering a protest letter to the NigerianHighCommissioner.
One of the coordinators of the protest DavisMac-Iyalla said:
