The second edition of the Access Conference 2015 held yesterday, 10 December, 2015 at the Eko Hotel Victoria Island Lagos.

The second edition of the Access Conference 2015 which held yesterday, 10 December, 2015 at the Eko Hotel Victoria Island Lagos, saw CEOs, entrepreneurs, politicians from all over the world gather under one roof.

The conference had 28 exceptional speakers from very different backgrounds, prominent in their own right speaking on "".

CEO/MD Access Bank Herbert Wigwe said during his opening address:

“This conference should enable every one of us to ask the important question: “What If?” What if Nigeria’s literacy level was 100%? Innovation is no longer an option but an absolute necessity.”

The Access Conference was moderated by Lucy Alexander, Journalist and Newsreader at Skye News, others spotted at the conference include Aliko Dangote, Chief Executive Officer Dangote Group; Aigboje AIG-Imokhuede, President of the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), Ibukun Awosika, Chairman First Bank Group, Hans Rosling, Professor of Global Health at Sweden’s Karolinska Institute; Lanre Da Silva, Founder of LDA Couture; Tara Durotoye of Tara International; Osayi Alile, Executive Director Access Bank; Nnamdi Ekeh, co-founder of Yudala; undefined Managing Partner Red Media Africa Jonathan Henning, Creative Strategist, Twitter and Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank – Nobel Peace Prize 2006.

The event came to a close with an Award ceremony tagged the 'W Awards' to honour Nigerian Women who have done exceptional well in their different fields and have contributed to the development of this great nation. The awards had categories like entrepreneur of the year, young professional of the year and seasoned professional of the year.

The annual conference started in 2013 and has hosted prominent global leaders including former Presidents George W. Bush of the United States, Nicolas Sarkozy of France, and John Kuffour of Ghana.
