Application into the KADSTEP Entrepreneurship programme could get you a $15,000 business loan

At the end of the program, participants who qualify will have access to a N3 million (approximately $15,000) loan from the Bank of Industry.

The Kaduna Startup and Entrepreneurship Programme (KADSTEP) is a job creation initiative put together by a combination  of the Kaduna State government, Kaduna Business School, and the Bank of Industry and its hopes to see the launch of Kaduna’s first indigenous startup accelerator.

According to Enterprise54, the entrepreneurship programme is scheduled to take a total of 12 weeks – 10 weeks of intensive entrepreneurship training at the Kaduna Business School, followed by an exam and 2 weeks of mentorship training.

At the end of the program, participants who qualify will have access to a N3 million (approximately $15,000) loan from the Bank of Industry.

Entrerprise54 reports that all businesses ideas are eligible for interested participants, even if it is already a startup.

Other requirements for participation include post-secondary school qualification, the business must be located in Kaduna State, and interested participants must be between the ages of 18 and 45.
