What Should Be Done To The Men Who Tortured Women Accused Of Stealing Pepper In Lagos?

Late in 2013, there was a very disturbing Youtube that went viral and drew the attention of Nigerians to the torture of three women in the Ejigbo area of LagosState, Nigeria.

The women were made to undergo series of degrading abuse with blended pepper and bottles shoved into their private parts.

The distressing act drew the ire of Nigerians and the LagosStateHouseofAssembly swung into action, declaring a manhunt for the perpetrators of the act who turned out to be men of the OduaPeoples’Congress, OPC.

The men were arrested last week and are currently undergoing investigations but the damage has been done with one of the women reportedly dead due to the torture she underwent.
