Singer loses band member in auto crash

The accident recorded a death of a band member with some people injured.

 

Gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele is mourning the loss of his band member, who died in a fatal accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

According to reports, the incident happened on Saturday, March 26, 2016, as a truck conveying musical equipments belonging to Ayefele ran into a ditch.

The driver, while trying to control the vehicle swerved off the road and fell face down. The impact of this led to the loss of life, with some people injured.

The accident victims, both dead and alive were taken to the University of Ibadan Teaching Hospital.

Ayefele himself is a victim of an auto-crash that saw him lose his ability to walk, therefore restricting him to navigating from a wheel chair.

He has enjoyed great musical exposure, using his accident experience to minister to his followers in many of his songs.

The gospel singer was part of the performers at Julius Agwu's'The Rebirth' concert held on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at the Eko Hotels & Suites.
