Singer gets humanitarian award for anti-Malaria campaign

He was given the award because of his contribution to the fight against malaria in the African continent thanks to his Waconzy Versus Malaria Zero Tolerance campaign.

Singer Waconzy was recently honored with a humanitarian award at the 6th Annual World Music and Independent Film Festival Hollywood USA.

The Anti-Malaria foundation by Waconzy was established in 2013 with the main objective of eradicating malaria in Africa.

The star studded event  attracted celebrities  from all over the world. Waconzy was also made friends with the world renowned Shari Belafonte during the awards and she assured him of her support to his cause.
