Actress sides TV host who called Michelle Obama 'an ape'

'Empire' actress Raven-Symone claims the TV host who said Michelle Obama looks like a character in 'The Planet Of Apes' wasn't racist.

'Empire' actress Raven-Symone claims the TV host who said Michelle Obama looks like a character in 'The Planet Of Apes' wasn't racist.

Raven dished out her opinion as a guest on 'The View' TV show on Monday March 17.

While her other co-hosts insisted it was unprofessional for the popular Latino TV host to say that about America's First Lady and was also airing a hidden secret about Latin Americans' view of the black community, Raven disagreed.

Instead she said,  "he did said he voted for her later... I don't think he was saying that racist."

She then went on to say: "Michelle don't fire me from this right now but some people do look like animals.... is that rude to say?"

During his entertainment news show 'El Gordo Y La F', undefinedhad said: "Well, watch out, you know that Michelle Obama looks like she’s from the cast of Planet of the Apes, the movie.”

His co-hosts reacted quickly. Lili Estefan said, "What are you saying?" and Raul de Molina said Michelle was an attractive woman. Still, Rodner stood by his shocking statement, saying, "But it is true."
