Congolese music star's final moments alive [PHOTOS]

According to a report by BBC, the 66-years old music star collapsed on stage while performing at a concert and was eventually pronounced dead.

Papa Wemba who was also known as the driving spirit behind a cult movement known as "Sapeurs" whose members spend huge amounts of money on designer clothes died while performing on stage in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Papa Wemba became prominent on the African music scene since 1969, with his soukous rock music.

He won a world following with his soukous rock music and remained one of Africa's most popular musicians until his death.
