Following a successful premiere in Lagos on September 29, Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli, has embarked on a cinema tour across Nigeria to promote her new movie, The First Lady, with her first stop in Enugu State.

The movie was premiered in the coal city on Monday, October 5, and the next stop is Abuja on Tuesday, October 6.
Other cities on the to stop are Port Harcourt on October 7, Uyo (October 8), Calabar (October 9), Ibadan (October 10) and Benin on Sunday, October 11.
Omoni Oboli is joined on the tour by the movie’s lead actor, Alexx Ekubo.

The First Lady tells the story of a prostitute, Michelle, who is stuck in a world she cannot escape from. Her hope is that one day a prince charming would rescue her from it all.
Guests at the Lagos premiere include former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; immediate past MD of AMCON, Mustafa Chike-Obi, and make-up guru, Tara Fela-Durotoye.
From Nollywood came Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Toyin Aimakhu, Joseph Benjamin, Yvonne Jegede, Mary Lazarus, Foluke Daramola-Salako and Ufuoma McDermott among others.
