Has celebrity couple split for real?

Report has it that she left her marital home immediately after the birth of their son, Jayden.

Ubi Franklin & Lilian Esoro

Lilian Esoro is said to have split from her husband, after the birth of their son, over alleged reports of infidelity and domestic abuse.

According to unconfirmed reports, trouble has been brewing with the Franklins a year after they got married.

The actress was noticeably absent during the grand opening of Ubi's new business venture Tilt Terrace in Lekki, on October 30, 2016. The event was attended by several A-list celebrities but Lilian Esoro was conspicuously missing.

From all indications, Lilian is not in the country with her husband and is currently enjoying ‘mummy and I’ time with her son, Jayden abroad. This hasn’t stopped people from wondering if everything is okay with the celebrity couple.

Speculation over the state of their marriage started yesterday, November 1, 2016, which was their first wedding anniversary.

Ubi put up a photo collage of the both of them on their wedding day with the caption, "1 year ago I married my lovely wife Lilian who is God Fearing lady and Super mom to our beautiful son "Jayden". My love for you both knows no boundaries and I will always find this event to be the happiest moment in my life. Through the good times and challenging times, our union would only continue to grow from strength to strength. Love you lots! Ubi. Onise iyanu ."

Esoro, on the other hand, decided to share a picture of her sisters and beauty tips -  seemingly ignoring Ubi Franklin's post and her wedding anniversary.

It doesn't end there. A quick scan on her social media pages shows that the actress who was once vocal about her love for Ubi Franklin has practically stopped her public display of affection for her husband online. Now, she's more about God and self-love.

"Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't let the voice of others opinion silence your own inner voice, and most importantly, follow your own heart and intuition. #STAYFOCUSED #EYESONTHEPRICE #PROTECTYOURHAPPINESS #PRAYWITHOUTCEASING #BESTILLANDKNOWGOD #LINESWILLFALLINPLEASANTPLACES #BECOMEMORE," she captioned a photo shared on Instagram on Monday, September 31, 2016.

She also posted another photo on Instagram with the caption, “Observe while still Seated. So you know where you're Headed once you need to take your Leave."

Pulse has reached out to both parties but they have not responded to our e-mail enquiries. Pulse also paid a visit to Tilt Terrace lounge, Ubi's latest venture, he wasn’t available.

Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro’s relationship has had its fair share of drama. While they were both still dating, former Triple MG singer Emma Nyra accused Franklin of verbally and physically abusing her for years.

In an interview with Vanguard Newspaper in May 2015, she said “He abused me and other members of the label with physical and verbal force. This is why I left Triple MG the first time.”

Ubi Franklin later replied, saying that he spent a lot of money on Emma Nyra’s career which didn’t yield profit. He also confirmed that he dated her and alluded that she was cheating on him.

“That relationship made me cut off a lot of people and it also made me feel like everybody wanted the same ‘cake’ I was having. I spent a lot of time trying to beef people when I am not supposed to. It really dealt me a big blow” he revealed in an interview with The Cable.

After the Emma Nyra drama, it was reported that Lilian Esoro called off her engagement to the music executive in April, 2015.
