Comedian quits Fashion Police after 7 episodes

Joan River's replacement has also thrown in the towel because she thinks its becoming a 'mean show'.

Joan Rivers' replacement, Kathy Griffin has taken the high road, quitting the Fashion Police after just seven episodes simply because it's a 'mean show'.

Griffin tweeted, March 12: "I thought I could bring my brand of humor to Fashion Police so that beautiful people in beautiful dresses could be teased when appropriate."

Griffin adds, "My brand of humor, while unrepentant and unafraid, is all about CONTEXT. There's plenty to make fun of in pop culture without bringing people's bodies into it."

Although she wasn't so specific on what changed her decision, she did say, "I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference."

She also never mentioned the Giuliana Rancic and Zendayasaga at the Oscars, but she made mention in her tweet being a champion of people of color.

Kathy Griffin joins Kelly Osbourne to become the second host to quit the fashion show.

Meanwhile her spot and Kelly's could be occupied by Khloe Kardashian, Nene Leakes, Naya Rivera or Christina Milian.

If you were Joan Rivers, what would you do?
