Kanye West and Kim Kardashian share kiss at 2015 MTV VMAs

Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and some members of the Kardashian clan answered present at this year's MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 30 and they sure made it a memorable night.

Kanye was honored with a Lifetime Achievement award for his contribution to music. The rapper and wife shared a passionate kiss before he accepted his award.

Looks like a kiss from Kim was all Kanye needed to deliver his 'powerful' speech while receiving his Video Vanguard award. Because during his speech, the rapper announced he's running president in 2020.

Kanye's announcement that he would run for president comes almost ten years to the day that he attacked President George Bush on national television during a live segment. On September 2, 2005, Kanye and Mike Meyers appeared at a telethon benefit for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and almost immediately Kanye appeared to go off script.

''I hate the way they portray us in the media,'' said Kanye. "If you see a black family, it says, "They're looting." You see a white family, it says, "They're looking for food." And you know that it's been five days because most of the people are black,'' he added.

Meyers took over soon after that, but when he went to take a breath at one point, Kanye said; "George Bush doesn’t care about black people," and then walked off stage.
