Wife Quits Twitter After Getting Death Threats

It all started when the Sports Illustrated cover girl tweeted about the fatal shooting at the Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Cananda last week.

John Legend's model wife Chrissy Teigen gets into more trouble on Twitter but this time, she's been bullied off the social media network after receiving series of vicious death threats.

It all started when the Sports Illustrated cover girl tweeted about the fatal shooting at the Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Cananda last week. In her attempt to relate the incident to America's ongoing gun violence, Teigen wrote:

"Active shooting in Canada, or as we call it in America, Wednesday."

Many followers didn't find her tweet hilarious and they began shooting threats from all angles. Someone wrote: "Rot in hell bitch" and "Sorry Canada, our Hollywood elits and its dumb models are idiots. Wish ISIS would give Chrissy a permanent haircut."

Mrs. Legend also re-tweeted one threat which read, "@fvvvvvvvvvvvvck I hope someone murders someone you love, like your f----t husband" and wrote, "Amazing this isn't punishable."

After getting hit, the 28-year-old model dropped a tweet saying: "It's gotten to the point people don't even see the simplicity of the original tweet and have just wanted to get shaking-mad over something."

And in her final tweet, she wrote, "I feel sick. Bye Twitter. Taking my talents to instagram."

Well, its not the first time Chrissy is getting insults on Twitter. We previously reported she slammed 21-year-old singer Ariana Grande telling her "I hate You" on Twitter last month after her performance on the Saturday Night Live.

Looks like some people aren't so Twitter-friendly after all.
