The video of the brawl did not come out until a week later demystifying the life Jay Z and Beyonce had carefully put together over the years.
In the infamous video, Solange was seen screaming at Jay Z before lunging at him, and trying to kick him. As the bodyguard tried to hold Solange back, Beyonce mysteriously did not make a move. She just stood there and watched.

Beyonce and Jay-Z faced the toughest time of their marriage after the video trended worldwide. They were strong rumours of infidelity, and that the power couple were about to break up.
The real reason behind the elevator drama is only known by the people who were in it. A year after the incident it seems Jay Z and Beyonce have put it behind them and moved on. As for Solange, well there was a reconciliation and Jay Z did attend her wedding later in the year.
