Rapper doing well amidst cheating controversy

Iggy and her basketballer fiancé, Nick Young, are reportedly "doing well" after riding through a "rough patch" and an ongoing controversy suggesting that Young might have cheated on her.

The rumours began last week after an online video showed the 30-year-old Los Angeles Lakers player watching television in a hotel room while talking about women with teammate D'Angelo Russell, 20, who appears to have filmed the clip. He asks Young about a 19-year-old woman he met at a club last summer. Young seems unaware he is being recorded.

Iggy took to social media on Wednesday and tweeted, "Hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending... I actually liked his film. Thanks bro."

The 25-year-old rapper and Nick Young, her lover of five years, have not made any direct comments on the rumors.

According to a source close to the couple, they are both doing well despite the controversy. The anonymous source was quoted by E! News, saying that Iggy and Young"are still doing well."

"Nick and Iggy had a rough patch months ago and Nick got caught up in things he shouldn't have been dabbling in," another source said, adding that the men's conversation took place months ago as well.

"This has not been an ongoing problem between Iggy and Nick though, just a mistake. Nick really loves Iggy.

"Nick and Iggy have spoken today and they plan on talking more about what happened, why it happened and if they can get past this patch," the source added.

Los Angeles Times Lakers writer Mike Bresnahan reported Wednesday afternoon that Russell has since apologized to Young, who accepted his apology. However the two men have not The two have not commented.
