Actor welcomes baby girl

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is now the daddy of a new baby girl.

The former wrestling champion’s girlfriend Lauren Hashian delivered a “healthy baby girl” yesterday (December 16).

The Rock announced that he was having a daughter a month ago on his Instagram. He shared a picture of him with a pregnant Lauren and wrote “I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more... IT'S A BABY GIRL!! THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you've sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world. We're so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y'all.”

This isn’t The Rock’s first daughter. He has 14 year old daughter named Simone from a previous marriage with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

During an interview with Esquire magazine, The Rock gushed about his girlfriend, Hashian, saying:

"We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned and my daughter [Simone] isn't mentioned. I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there. You gotta get the better half in there. With all the cool s--t and success that I've been lucky enough to get? That doesn't happen unless the home life is solid," he told the mag.
