Tanzanian singer says paternity drama is a publicity stunt

On August 17 Pulse reported the story of King Lawrence claiming that he is the father of Diamond Platnumz's child.

Tanzanian star singer, Diamond Platnumz in a recent radio interview has said that the paternity drama between his baby mama Zari and her former brother-in-law King Lawrence is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

On August 17 Pulse reported the story of King Lawrence claiming that he is the father of the child. In a letter to Zari from his lawyers Web Advocates & Solicitors, he wants the Ugandan socialite to take three DNA tests to determine who is the father of the child.

In his interview with Cloud FM in Tanzania, Diamond revealed he has not received any papers instructing him or Zari to submit their daughter Tiffah to three paternity tests. "I have not received any formal order from the courts asking me to conduct paternity tests on my daughter" he said.

During the interview he stated that the paternity claim by King Lawrence is nothing more than a publicity stunt. "We should all know people use the media for different purposes. Some use the platform to get publicity, just like the one we have seen of late. It is not a bad thing (to seek publicity), but you know it should be done in such a truthful manner; not like the one we are seeing and reading – about a guy being so creative that he convinces people to believe his false claims."

He also said his partner was not married before they met. "Zari has never wedded before; those are just rumours doing rounds. I had asked her about the same claims, and she revealed she has never been married to anybody" he told Cloud FM.

Zari has three kids for South-African based tycoon Ivan Ssemwanga.
