Pop star to reportedly appear in court, Jan. 2015

D'Banj will be going to court next year for reportedly failing to repay a loan.

It looks like music superstar D'Banj will be starting 2015 on a rough note. He will reportedly be appearing in court on January 25, 2015.

A Writ of Summons already signed by a Lagos state Chief Judge will be placed on the wall of D'Banj's Lekki home. He us being dragged to court over alleged debt issues.

Last month it was reported that D'banj was in a debt mess with Henry Ojogho, Vice-Chairman of Broron Group. According to reports, Henry Ojogho loaned D'Banj the sum of over N60m. According to the businessman, D'Banj hasn't returned his money or made any attempt to pay back despite signing an understatement.

D'Banj who came back into the country recently after a 3 month stay in America, hasn't responded to the issue.
