Fans react to death of singer’s husband, René Angélil

The sad news of his passing has left the world awestruck.

When tragedy strikes, we are beset by heavy hearts.

The sad news concerning the passing of René Angélil, musician and husband of Celine Dion has left the world awestruck.

He died in the morning of January 14, 2016 after a long battle with throat cancer.

Fans are now reacting to the sad demise of the talented music genius. This reaction must have been at the wake of a post on Celine Dion’s Twitter handle:

The overwhelming response literally melted the heart. Comforting words trailed one another.

The death of the musician has caused quite a vigil of prayers.

Angelil began his musical career in the 1960s.

He formed the pop rock group, 'The Baronets' (also known as  Les Baronnets) with childhood friends Pierre Labelle and Jean Beaulne. Their main hit being a translation of The Beatles 'hold me tight' song.
