Actor/Comedian says he only expects fair reporting from Black media

Bill Cosby says he only expects a fair reportage of his rape allegation saga from the black media

After weeks of stony silence on the countless rape accusations levelled against Bill Cosby, the leading actor/comedian has finally granted an interview of sorts on the matter saying he only expects fair reportage on the saga from the black media.

In the last few weeks, Bill Cosby has had several rape allegations levelled against him by no fewer than 19 women including model, Janice Dickinson. However, the former 'Cosby Show' actor has largely shied away from commenting on the issue till this weekend when he reportedly spoke to a black reporter from the New York Post.

According to reports, a black reporter from the New York Post called Cosby’s Massachusetts home but instead of denying the accusations, Bill Cosby indirectly threw shade at the White media, saying he only expects fair reporting from the Black media. In his words:

“Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind.”

When asked how his wife has handled this ordeal, he said:

“Love and the strength of womanhood. Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And, you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love.”

What do you make of Cosby's statement? Do you think he's right about Black media being the only ones who'll give fair reportage? Share your thoughts with us.
