Comedian is a super hero in Rebtel video ad

Basketmouth was on a mission to save a lady that was captured.

Basketmouth has added a new twist to his character after being carved as a super hero character in a short video advertisement designed to promote Swedish telecoms company, Rebtel.

The comedian featured as an animated character named Captain Rebella, who was tasked with the responsibility of saving a lady from her captors.

Captain Rebella had to dash off to the scene with the super sonic speed of a super hero, screaming his name, 'Rebella' loudly.

According to the comedian, the video ad is a metaphor for how fast Rebtel can be when used for calls to Africa.

This is suppose to attract market for the telecoms company in Africa, particularly in Nigeria.

Basketmouth signed an endorsement with Rebtel earlier in February 2016, to become the face of the company.

Rebtel is a Swedish VoIP company founded in 2006 by Hjalmar Winbladh and Jonas Lindroth. Its services include international calling, messaging and mobile money delivered in apps for Android, iPhone and Windows Phone.

The ambassadorial position is one of Basketmouth's many deals with top brands, both in and outside Nigeria.
