Singer's manager opens up about Blackface lawsuit

Efe Omorogbe disclosed their first letter is a step in finally putting an end to the baseless allegations from Blackface over the years.

"We’re giving him the opportunity to retract his malicious statements or apologise for them before deciding on court action. The court is usually the last step seeking justice for injuries to reputations such as this," he said.

Adding, "Well we reserve the right to change our mind on how best to respond. It was our choice to ignore him while we did and now we’ve decided to take action. He has seven days to retract or apologise as instructed by our lawyers."

Blackface, whose real name is Ahmedu Augustine had earlier accused 2Baba of intellectual property theft, adding that he is yet to receive compensation for writing the song 'African Queen'.
