Volkswagen has a new plan to boost it's cars and it has everything to do with flat batteries.

So far, the company has suffered a 10% decrease in it's shares, and a major drop in November sales.
Volkswagen is looking to change this by investing in flat batteries for it's cars.
“We are developing a special vehicle architecture that foresees the installation of flat batteries. This will be a breakthrough for us. The automobile world is changing dramatically and new players have unbelievable resources. Now it’s important to revamp and let things go to invest in other things like software development and battery production.”
This was disclosed by VW brand chief, Herbert Diess, in a joint interview with VW’s top labour union representative, Bernd Osterloh.
