Toyota is about to make history with this new technology for autonomous (self-driving) cars.
According to the Japanese carmaker, this will “assist in hazard avoidance” by using the data from cameras and GPS units installed in production cars to build accurate maps.
This new technology will be found in 2020.
Yahoo reports that the system will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
