First 2016 model goes on sells for $750,000 [VIDEO]

The first 2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn has just been sold for $750,000.

Motorauthority reports that Californian collector, Julian Movsesian, paid $750,000 for the luxurious convertible during a charity auction at the recent Naples Winter Wine Festival.

This buy makes him the first person to own the first Dawn example in North America.

Dawn was officially debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show on September 8th, 2015.

Torsten Muller-Otvos, Rolls-Royce CEO, described it as "the most social of super-luxury motor cars for those beautiful people who wish to bathe in the sunlight of the world's social hotspots."

Features include a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V-12, that delivers 563 horsepower,an eight-speed automatic transmission, Satellite Aided Transmission technology.

The 2016 Dawn goes from 0-60 mph in under 5.0 seconds and a top speed limited to 155 mph.
