Nigerian singer, Solidstar has expressed anger at being disrespected during a performance.

The Nigerian singer’s anger is directed at DJ Neptune who he claims disrespected him at the first ever Headies Nominees concert that held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Landmark Event Center, Oniru – Lagos.

Solidstar’s song was allegedly ended before he concluded his performance at the event, a situation that made the ‘Omotena’ singer unhappy.

He has angrily expressed his displeasure as he took to Instagram saying, “was disrespected on stage last night in front of my fans by 2pple i respect so much @deejayneptune Omotalabi i just had to let go, but next time i wuld tell you guys trash before leaving the stage.”

Earlier in the year, Solidstar also ranted about the Headies award and NEA awards.

Multi-talented artiste, Solidstar has lashed out at the Headies 2015 nomination list on social media, demanding more recognition.

The Achievas Music singer made the recently released list with two nominations. He is in running for the awards in the Best Music Video and Best Reggae/Dancehall Single categories.

Solidstar believes he deserves more nods on the list, and has taken to twitter to express his thoughts. First he expresses his 'thanks' to the organisers of The Headies, before throwing in the specifics of his demand.

"Thanks to Headies for recognising all the hardwork we put into making good music! 2 nominations, I deserve 1 for best collabo though...My Body ft Timaya and Baby Jollof ft Tiwa Savage!" He said.

This is the second time Solidstar has expressed his displeasure with a music award. Earlier this month, the singer failed to win a recognition at the NEA Awards, and took to twitter to blast the award ceremony.
