Popular Fuji musician, Sule Alao Adekunle Malaika has revealed why he can’t quit the genre of music.

Speaking to The Punch, Malaika said, ‘I had thought of quitting so many times when I was not making money. There was a time in my life that I did not have more than two clothes to my name and I was still performing. I would go to beer palours to beg the owners to allow me perform.

‘They normally agreed but told me that I would not be paid. My priority was just to play. I would borrow money to rent musical equipment, perform without being paid. I could not give up because my mother had told me that music was a very tough career and if I insisted on becoming a musician, I must not quit,’ he revealed.
