Stars to perform at “Bet Experience Africa”

BET will be celebrating urban culture, music and lifestyle at the festival.

Flavour live in Houston.

Flavour and Diamond Platnumz will be preforming live at the BET Experience Africa in December.

The top acts from Nigeria and Tanzania will be joining an international line-up made up of neo soul singer Maxwell, three-time GRAMMY Award nominated international R&B singer Tamar Braxton and singer/guitarist Raphael Saadiq at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The entertainment channel BET will be celebrating urban culture, music and lifestyle at the festival.

The event on December 12, 2015 is set to showcase great food, fashion, music, dance and sport. It will feature a celebrity basket ball game and stand-up routines from comedy stars.

The inaugural BET Experience Africa will take place at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg on Saturday 12 December 2015.

Flavour N’abania started his career as a drummer for a local church. The singer has since become an award-winning act capturing the hearts of many on the continent.

Diamond Platnumz is the most popular acts from Tanzania. The East African singer was recently won Best African Act at the 2015 MTV EMAs.

This is the first time the BET Experience will be holding in Africa. It will also feature informative and instructive Genius Talks curated by experts and opinion formers in various fields.

BET Africa launched on DSTV on April 2, 2015. The entertainment brand is looking at creating local content with shows like ‘Top Actor Africa’ and ‘Buzz’.
