Afropolitan Vibes After 4 years of entertaining Lagos, popular music concert series gets new venue, new price

The music and art festival showcase will be making its return come June 16, 2017.

Popular Lagos monthly unplugged concert, Afropolitan Vibes, have announced new changes to their organization and execution of the event.

Hosted by musician Adebantu and his Bantu band, the event which has held at the Freedom Park, Lagos, will be getting a new home. According to the organizers, the event will move to the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.

That was not the only change announced. Event goers will be elated to hear that the entry fee at the venue has been reduced. Concert goers will now pay N1000 instead of the previous and divisive N1500.

Afropolitan Vibes is a monthly live music concert series and annual music festival in Lagos, Nigeria. The show was created by Ade Bantu and Abby Ogunsanya in 2013 as a platform to showcase alternative music.

The show has provided platforms for emerging and established artists to showcase and build their careers while providing undiluted entertainment value to the audience. Notable names who have performed on the stage include Ice Prince, Falz, Olu Maintain, Lindsey Abudei and more.
