You feel like you are flying without wings when you both are together , you’ve talked about kids and growing old together, hands entwined and it’s just a beautiful fantasy waiting to come to reality but he is yet to the pop the golden question “will you marry me?”

You feel like you are flying without wings when you both are together, you’ve talked about kids and growing old together, hands entwined and it’s just a beautiful fantasy waiting to come to reality but he is yet to the pop the golden question “will you marry me?” this is making you become a bit concerned as friends and family are beginning to make little comments and asking in the typical Nigerian fashion “so when are we coming to eat your wedding cake?”

Today we will discuss why you might not hear the golden question; the first thing you have to clear out of your head is not because you are not good enough he may not ask you to marry him because:

1. He does not love you: You may be in a relationship with a great guy. He pays attention to you, sends you gifts and your relationship seems like an unending honeymoon.

He might which makes him feel the relationship is special and enables him to overlook the imperfections of his partner thereby making him feel valued and special. This does not mean .

Loving you entails him connecting to you, understanding you and wanting to be with you for who you are and not who he wants you to be. It may be difficult decipher the difference between the two but time will tell.

A man falls in love at the beginning of a relationship but after awhile when you both have been intimate and he has seen the positive and negative sides of you when all the glitters have disappeared. A man who falls in love will look for the exit door while a man who loves you truly will stick to you and possibly see the future with you.

A man who falls in love with you might stick to you because he is attracted to but he is not connected to you. Finally, a man who truly loves you will make sacrifices for you will put your wants and needs sometimes before his. A Relationship is all about give and take but love is more about giving.

2. If he is not ready for Commitments: Ladies if you are with a man and he shies away from talking about commitments after you both have been together for about a year, there are basically two reasons First is, he is not yet defined and so does not have the ability to get committed to you, a man is defined by who he is, what he has and where he hopes to be until he gets all these he will not commit to anyone.

Furthermore, he is just with you for the attention he gets from you and he easily gives you short breaks when he senses the conversation is leading to getting serious or settling down in the relationship. So if he falls into any of these categories he will not commit and you will not be hearing the golden question anytime soon.

Furthermore, you might want to express your feelings and give him an ultimatum to propose to you or he should consider losing you this maybe a 50/50 option you should be ready for whatever outcome you get.
