A remake of the 1979 movie of the same name, "Time After Time" mirrors the film's centuries-spanning chase of the charismatic by a dashing H.G. Wells, the author of "The Time Machine," "The War of the Worlds," among many other notable novels. The famous 19th Century serial killer has stolen the author's time machine and escapes to modern-day New York City. Wells then ventures after him in order to bring him back to the past.
