The Japanese artist created amazingly realistic sculptures depicting animals.
She creates the sculptures by rolling, twisting and then binding sheets of wet newspaper. The whole creation process is done by hand alone.
Using the coloured print, she enhances the contours of her sculptures. She has created sculptures of animals such as macaques, lizards and a giant rhinoceros.
The sculptures are stunning and even more so because the artist creates them from something most of us throw away as garbage.
