The original painting was temporarily removed on February and replaced with a replica which was produced in China.
The public were challenged to spot it in the midst of the permanent collection of 270 Old Master paintings.
The original and replica are currently hanging side by side, pointing out stylish differences between the two portraits.
Visitors can also visit the Gallery to compare the two works until July 26, 2015.
